I have been working on the German-to-English translation of a series of three psychological thrillers for a major U.S. publisher. I’m currently working on the third and final instalment in the series.
The second book contained a steamy shower scene between two main characters. I instantly felt the need to replenish my cream fudge level just to cool off.
Lesson: Make sure to feed your translator, especially this one with his ultra-rapid metabolism.
